How SendRSS helps you run a broadcast

8/21/2026

RSS is the habit: new post, new letter. A broadcast is the exception: one note to the list when the feed is not the right vehicle.

SendRSS keeps that exception small on purpose. Pro and Business can write a constrained letter — a launch, a correction, a quiet hello — and send it to confirmed subscribers. It is not a campaign suite, a drip sequence, or a folder of “flows.”

When a broadcast is the right tool

Use a broadcast when the message is not an article in the feed. A product going live. A date change. A personal note you would not want sitting in RSS forever. The feed stays the record of the writing. The broadcast is the tap on the shoulder.

Do not use it to blast a purchased list. SendRSS only mails addresses that confirmed on your widget or subscribe link. Large sends wait for review so one account cannot burn the inboxes of everyone else.

How it stays a letter

You pick a preset, write the note, and send. Classic, announcement, and minimal keep a simple letter. Letter, Studio, Briefing, Masthead, Well, and Placard change the structure. Monthly quota follows the plan. There is no infinite blast tool, no dark-pattern countdown, no “smart send time” theater.

The same privacy rules apply as article mail: no ads in the letter, no open pixels, no selling the list, hashed IPs, unsubscribe and data deletion from the email. Readers should not have to guess whether a broadcast is a different product with different rules.

RSS still does the daily work

If the goal is “people read the new post,” keep RSS email as the default. Broadcasts are for the days the feed is not enough — not a replacement for publishing.
