FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
How RSS to email, lists, confirmations, and branding work. Updated from the admin dashboard.
What is SendRSS?
SendRSS is RSS to email: it turns an RSS or Atom feed into a confirmed email list. Capture is a free sign up form. After you save RSS email, mail goes out when you publish, with no ads and no open pixels. Paid plans are billed by our merchant of record.
Do you sell subscriber data?
No. We do not sell data, put ads in the letter, or track opens. We store only what the product needs. Subscriber IP addresses are truncated, then hashed. You can export or purge everything from account settings.
Do you put ads in emails?
No. SendRSS never inserts ads or sponsor blocks into the letter. Free widgets and emails may include a small Powered by SendRSS credit. That is branding, not an ad network.
Do you track readers?
No open pixels, no wrapped links, no reader profiles. We store the address, a hashed IP, and delivery events (sent, bounce, complaint) so mail can be sent. We do not sell that data.
How do I close my account?
Sign in, open Account, and use Close account. Type your email to confirm. Feeds and subscriber lists are deleted. A closure record (email, date, hashed IP, account summary) is kept for admin audit. Cancel a paid plan in billing first. See the knowledge base.
How does double opt-in work?
Every subscriber starts pending. They are not mailed until they use the confirm link in their inbox. There is no soft confirm.
Can I remove SendRSS branding?
Free widgets and emails include a small Powered by SendRSS credit. Pro and Business remove it and let you use your own logo, header, and footer.
How do I embed a widget?
Create a list, then a widget, and publish it. Paste the script on Blogger or most sites. WordPress post content usually needs the iframe. Help has steps for Blogger, WordPress, Ghost, Squarespace, and HTML sites.
Does the widget work on Blogger and WordPress?
Yes. On Blogger and Blogspot, paste the script in an HTML gadget. On WordPress, use the iframe in a Custom HTML block; put the script in the footer if you want a modal or bar. Help has the steps for each.
What is the refund policy?
First paid charges can be refunded within 14 days. See the refund policy page for yearly renewals and how to ask.
