Why SendRSS exists
8/21/2026 · Elliyas Ahmed
Most newsletter tools are built to do much more than send your latest posts by email.
They offer campaign builders, automation sequences, dashboards, audience profiles, tracking systems, hosted reading pages, and other features that can make sense for marketing teams. But for a blogger or publisher who already has an RSS feed, all of that can feel like a lot of machinery around a simple job.
You publish a post. Readers want to receive it by email. They click the email and return to your website.
That is where SendRSS comes in.
Most Newsletter Tools Are CRMs in Disguise
A traditional newsletter platform often starts with the idea of managing contacts.
You build audiences, create campaigns, monitor engagement, track opens and clicks, and manage subscribers through a marketing dashboard.
That approach can be useful when you need a full marketing system.
But many publishers do not need another CRM.
If you already publish through a blog, your RSS feed already knows when you have something new to share. Your readers simply need a way to subscribe and receive those posts.
SendRSS takes a different approach.
A feed, a confirm link, and mail that looks like a letter.
There is no need to create a second editorial workflow just to send your existing posts by email.
You Already Have the Content
Your blog is where you write.
Your website is where you publish.
Your RSS feed is already carrying information about your new posts.
So why copy that content into another editor every time you publish?
SendRSS connects your existing RSS or Atom feed to email. Readers can sign up through a widget on your website, confirm their address, and receive your new posts in their inbox.
The email then sends them back to the article on your website.
Your publishing workflow stays where it already belongs.
RSS-to-Email Should Not Need So Much Baggage
Many RSS-to-email services add features around the basic delivery process.
Some free plans may include advertising in emails. Others use tracking pixels to measure opens or send readers to a hosted reading page instead of directly to your website.
SendRSS was created around a different idea.
The email should be about your post, not the email platform.
There are no ads in the letter. SendRSS does not use open pixels, does not wrap links to track clicks, and does not build reader profiles.
The click goes to your article.
Your Readers Are People, Not Metrics
An email subscriber should not have to become a marketing profile just because they subscribed to a blog.
SendRSS uses double opt-in, so readers confirm their subscription before receiving mail.
There are no open pixels or wrapped links for reader tracking. Readers can unsubscribe, and they can request that their data be erased.
The goal is straightforward: deliver the post they asked to receive.
Keep the List You Build
There is another important part of building an audience: being able to leave.
Your subscriber list should not feel like something you have rented from a newsletter platform.
SendRSS lets publishers export subscriber data as CSV and provides a full account export. You can also purge a list when needed.
The idea is simple.
Build the list. Keep the list. Leave when you want.
That matters whether you are running a personal blog, a publication, or a growing business website.
Bring Readers Back to Your Website
A newsletter can become a destination of its own. SendRSS takes a different approach.
The email is there to notify subscribers about your new post. The reader clicks through to the article on your website.
That means the traffic comes back to the place where you publish.
Your website remains the home of your content.
The email simply gives readers another way to discover it.
A Smaller Tool for a Simpler Job
SendRSS is not trying to replace every marketing platform.
It exists for publishers who already have content, already have an RSS or Atom feed, and want a straightforward way to deliver that content by email.
You do not need another editor.
You do not need ads inside your emails.
You do not need open tracking to send your readers a new post.
You need a way for people to subscribe, confirm their address, receive your posts, and return to your website.
That is why SendRSS exists.
Your feed. Your list. Your website.
