How SendRSS Helps You Collect Leads With a Widget

A lead is an email address someone intentionally gives you. It is not a scraped address, a co-registration, or a pre-ticked box.

SendRSS collects that address directly on your website with a small email signup widget, then waits for the reader to confirm it. Until they click the confirmation link in their inbox, the address stays pending. Only confirmed readers become part of the list you actually mail.

The form stays on your page

Adding a SendRSS widget does not require replacing your existing signup system or sending visitors to another website. You can paste a small script into your site, or use an iframe where a theme does not allow scripts.

The widget supports three basic placements: inline, modal, and floating bar.

You also get ready-made designs to start with. There are ten looks available across plans, including Quiet, Table, Trail, and Signal. Pro and Business add layouts that change the structure of the form itself, including stacked, split, poster, masthead, dock, well, and ribbon.

You can still adjust the design to fit your site, including colors, typography, corners, and copy. If you leave an optional heading blank, SendRSS does not display an empty heading.

The widget is for lead capture, not surveillance. It collects the information needed to subscribe someone to your list. The emails sent afterward contain no ads or open pixels.

Free widgets include a small SendRSS credit, while paid plans can remove it.

Confirmation comes before the first email

A signup is not the same thing as a confirmed subscription.

When someone enters their email address, SendRSS keeps the subscription pending until the reader confirms it from their inbox. This double opt-in process helps make sure the person actually intended to subscribe before they receive RSS emails or other messages.

Pending means pending. Nothing is treated as a confirmed subscriber until the confirmation link is used.

Readers can also leave later. Unsubscribing stops future mail, while an erase request removes the address and related events for that list.

What you can do with the list

Once readers confirm, the subscriber list is yours to manage.

You can export confirmed and pending addresses as CSV, or use a full account export when you need a broader copy of your account data. You can also purge the list when necessary.

The widget is how readers join. RSS email is how you automatically bring them back to your latest posts, while broadcasts give you a way to send a separate note when you have something specific to say.

The idea is simple: let people choose to join, confirm that choice, and keep the list you build from your own website.
